Initially, had a Summit technician try to... repair it repair price brought in question of having furnace replaced being a better value. Had salesperson contact me later that day and through describing old furnace and pictures taken by the technician he identified comparable replacement and quoted me a price. Worst customer experience ever... I would not ever recommend. The guy that came was so rude and creepy. Rude ...... because after I asked him if he needed to come inside to see what’s wrong with the heater he immediately got offended and stopped answering any questions I had and pretended not to hear me just completely ignored me. Then I asked why he need to come in after he found out what was wrong with it he said he wanted to make sure the filter was changed. Ok understandable however I checked that and let him know I didn’t think that was the case. Creepy because his whole attitude changed when I told him that. I mean I’d rather not have anyone in my home other than family because of COVID but also because I felt uneasy around him. He had to come twice to my house and he was rude both times! He ignored me and my questions! I wish I could’ve had a different person like on some of these reviews! This guy name was John , Heavy set and very RUDE. Very satisfied on the whole process from Mark to the rest of the technician who went in and work on the installation.... We went ahead and have TRANE energy efficient furnace and air conditioner installed on our house.I just have one thing to point out and it's about the PSE energy rebate. The quote did mention about the $350 rebate from PSE but it's already added (deducted) to the overall cost. I was under the impression that since it is a rebate, I would expect to get it after the install. What they do is they automatically enrolled you the PSE rebate program and PSE will send the rebate to them. So if you're considering High Efficiency Furnace from Summit Heating, please carefully review your quotes and ask about the rebate.read more
We got bait and switched. The salesman with "20 years of experience" was out at the house, gave us estimates for an... 80% and 95% efficiency furnace, took measurements and set us up with an installation for a new 95% efficient furnace. The price difference was only $300 between the two so it was a no brainer. Once the installers got here, somehow the space now wasn't big enough for the 95% efficiency so they installed an 80% efficiency, at the same price as the 95% efficiency. We tried to have it sorted out with the office to at least only charge us for the 80% they quoted us, but they refused and said we are lucky they didn't charge us for the wireless thermostat they installed, which they improperly installed and was falling off the wall. Also, the electrical guy was walking all through the house with muddy boots. I would give 0 stars if I could.read more

We had Summit come out to our home September 1st 2020 to give an estimate on a heat pump installation for a home we had... just purchased. I originally gave them a five-star review because the sales person did a very nice job and they installed it on September 17th without issue. Unfortunately, shortly after, we started having problems with the company and the permitting submissions, etc. At that time I deleted my five star review because I couldn't, in good conscience, give them a five-star review so I figured it best to give them no review. However, since deleting my review we have had numerous other issues and, as of tomorrow, February 4th 2021 (less than 5 months since installation) Summit has come out 8 (yes 8) separate times (not including the original estimate day and the installation days) since installation to try to fix said problems and its still not all done. Most of the people I have worked with are all very nice but this has been a total nightmare. Thankfully my schedule allows me the flexibility to be available for all these times but if I had to take time off for these... Yikes. Hopefully my case is a rare one-off situation.Follow-up from Summit's response (2.5.21) .I have notes in my calendar showing them visiting my home the following dates: 9/1/20 (estimate), 9/17 & 18th (installation), 9/25 (sales person returning to put missing vent piece on), 10/20 (efficiency test), 10/29, 11/6, 1/26/21 (outdoor clunking noise + failed LNI follow-up), 1/29/21 (electrician to fix one of the failed LNI issues) and 2/4/21 (fixing the other LNI issues). I didn't put notes in my calendar as to why they came on 10/29 or 11/6.I accidentally included (10/27) as I put a reminder in my phone to call them regarding a still missing piece and the fact that LNI had yet to schedule a visit (which was another issue as Summit put the request in for the wrong permit then had to cancel the original permit and re-submit it) but they, in fact, did not visit my home so that was completely my error.The mentioning of upgraded items was originally fantastic, however, it caused issues in itself as we had to have the thermostat changed two times because the original one was meant for the original system we were going to get, etc. Again, and hopefully in conclusion, I am very grateful for all their follow-up and sticking to what they sold and standing by their commitment to their customer. And, again, everyone I have spoken to has been very kind and accommodating so that, in itself, is something to be appreciated. I don't want to be a stinker but I did want to give an honest review.read more

Summit Heating did an absolutely fabulous and very thorough job of replacing the water heater in my home. The old water... heater was so gunked up with sediment from the hard water in the county that it wouldn't drain. They managed to get it outside, where they drained it safely. They then installed the new water heater and even showed me how to maintain it myself. That speaks hugely of his honesty and that of Summit's. They were also very pleasant and professional. This is the third job I've had Summit Heating do in my home. This company is the best!read more
My upstairs A/C was having problems and not cooling very well. They had an A/C tech at my house less than 24 hours... after I called. The A/C tech was able to troubleshoot my system.
